Spark Legal Network is a dynamic legal research consultancy that primarily works on cross border legal research projects for the European institutions. Spark has conducted various studies for the European Commission and the European Parliament in key legal areas that affect EU policy making, including competition and State aid, data protection, cybersecurity, energy, health, intellectual property and free movement law. It prides itself as providing high quality legal research and analysis. Notable recent projects include a study on the future relationship between the UK and the EU following Brexit in the field of the protection of personal data, as well as a study on the legal, governance and interoperability aspects of blockchain.

TRAINEESHIP TASKS

As an intern at Spark you will, amongst other things, engage in the following tasks:
• Assisting with the acquisition of new EU projects and studies through tendering
• Execution of EU projects and studies, including the coordination of cross-border legal and policy research team(s)
• Conduct legal and policy research and analysis on EU/national law related subjects
• Reporting on legal and policy research findings and/or analysis
• Communication with a wide range of high-profile clients
