The Trainee will also provide necessary assistance to our lawyers, and
therefore will experience the real work on the real-life cases, and will
learn how to work in a team of lawyers in our Law Firm. The Trainee
will learn how to use the theory she/he was taught at school in practice.
In addition to the traineeship at Law firm ECOVIS ježek, there is a possibility to spend also one week at the Municipal Court of Prague.
The content of that week will be: Introductory lecture/discussion on the system of judicial authorities in the Czech Republic, definition of competences and jurisdictions of specific courts. Tour of the judicial complex "Na Míčánkách" which is the largest and most modern judicial complex in Prague.
On individual days, students will be acquainted with the functioning and scope of work of individual sections of the judicial system, i.e. civil law division, criminal law division, administrative law division or commercial law division (insolvency issues, commercial register).
Within these one-day "visits" to the judicial departments, the opportunity will be provided to see the appropriate hearing/main trial and discuss with the judge (or assistant judge) of the specific division.
The content of the traineeship can be adapted according to student's nationality, language skills and interest in specific legal issues.
