DESCRIPTION OF THE STEP TRAINEESHIP PROVIDER

The chair of International Law and Public Law at the Justus-Liebig-University Giessen each year hosts two Summer Schools: The U.S.-German Summer Law School in International and Comparative Law (in cooperation with University of Wisconsin Law School and Marquette University) and the Hessen:international Summer University- Innovation and Regulation in Pharma & MedTech. We are looking for one trainee for each program to support us during the four weeks of these Summer Schools.

TRAINEESHIP TASKS

The trainees support the organising team during the summer schools, e.g. with conducting several social events (such as a BBQ party, Welcome Day, City Rally, Sports Day) and field trips (Brussels and Berlin). Essentially, the trainee will be a functional link between the core team and the participating students helping in communication. At the same time, the trainees participate in one of our programs as a regular student. The trainees will not receive a direct payment. However, all program fees will be covered in exchange. Next to the obligatory accommodation in a hotel with the other participating students (incl. breakfast and Wi-Fi), this includes course materials, all field trips and social events, public transport within Giessen and an unforgettable experience during the four weeks of the program.

REMUNERATION
