The Faculty of Law of the University of Turku is a modern research and education community. Generating new information through research and educating new professionals are the faculty’s top priorities.

The faculty conducts quality education and research which cover a wide academic range. Additionally, the teachers and researchers of the faculty participate actively in public discussion.
The trainee is expected to perform two primary tasks:
1. Carrying out research related tasks, such as writing summaries of articles or conducting information retrievals, for a project looking into innovation incentives e.g. public private partnerships, prize fund, among others; and topics related to pharmaceutical innovations, patents and international trade;
2. Assisting in the practical arrangements of organizing a Nordic conference on Criminal Law, Procedural Law and Criminology, to be held in Turku in August 2019.
In addition to these, the trainee may be appointed other research related tasks at the Faculty of Law.

Basic knowledge in the field of IP rights, international trade, international public law and commercial law is necessary.
Advanced knowledge of IP rights and international trade is an advantage.
