KMOP – Social Action and Innovation Centre is a leading NGO with more than 43 years of experience in supporting vulnerable people through the provision of social services, implementation of social initiatives, education, research and development of know-how on social policy issues. We design and implement impactful initiatives, aiming to make a difference in tackling the ongoing challenges in a globalized world. We are located in Greece, Serbia, Brussels, North Macedonia and Albania.
Non-governmental organisation (NGO)
The tasks of the STEP Trainee include inter alia:
-Conduction of literature reviews and primary and secondary research in social related issues, including legal issues.
-Mapping of online databases (e.g. surveys, academic papers etc.) and extraction of secondary data from these bases.
-Extraction of primary data from online surveys.
-Extraction of primary data from archives.
-Field data work (e.g. survey data collection, focus groups organisation, recording experiments).
-Mapping of non-governmental organizations (NGOs), civil society organizations (CSOs), universities, research institutes etc. related with social issues in third countries.
-Compiling of lists of contact details and contact persons from the above mentioned institutions.

Postgraduate degree (LLM) would be considered an asset.
They must also possess entrepreneurial mindset, ownership, flexibility, problem solving skills and attention to detail, excellent organization skills and strong ability to draft well-structured reports, summaries and guidelines.
