The European Centre for Certification and Privacy (ECCP) is leading the development of the Europrivacy certification scheme on GDPR compliance on the basis of Article 42 of the GDPR.
The ECCP has been established by the European research community in the context of the H2020 research programme. The organisation aims at developing a global ecosystem to support effective data protection implementation.
This STEP Traineeship is available both as an online and on-site vacancy.

The tasks of the STEP trainee include inter alia:
- Analysing and monitoring data protection law from diverse jurisdictions;
- Performing gap analysis;
- Developing the ad hoc certification criteria;
- Collecting, analysing and integrating legal text in a dedicated search engine;
- Supporting the organisation of conferences related to personal data protection
