The Center is a governmental body entitled to provide free legal services
for categories of citizens, as described by Ukrainian legislation.
The Center deals with different types of legal cases from civil law to
private international law.
It is supported by USAID, the American Bar Association, the Council of Europe, etc.
It is open to sharing its experience in advocacy services with іnternational students and graduates.
Primary legal aid involves informing people about their rights, the procedure for their implementation and restoration in case of violation.
These are the following types of legal services:
- providing legal information;
- consultations and clarifications on legal issues;
- preparation of applications, complaints, other legal documents (except procedural), as well as assistance in accessing secondary legal aid and mediation.

We are going to share with trainee the experience of Ukrainian free
legal aid system, which will include cooperation with governmental
The knowledge of Russian would be an asset. However, we also have
attorneys who speak English.
As we are a governmental body, we are not able to provide any
remuneration or additional services. Regardless, we are open to helping
our Trainees with any other issues concerning their stay in Kharkiv.
